We started the MF 8S project with a blank page. At the heart of this study was the global “Voice of the Customer” study; an in-depth and individual interview with customers and operators in several countries around the world.
The main feedback from you, the customer, highlighted the need for comfort, ease of use, value for money, excellent reliability, intuitive and convenient controls, efficiency by transmitting maximum power to the ground , 100% connectivity and the ability to work with the most demanding implements.
It was an exciting and inspiring project for everyone involved and an opportunity to build on Massey Ferguson's strong heritage of simple and reliable machines.
The result: a Massey Ferguson tractor for a new era. The MF 8S.

DYNA-VT
Dyna-VT offers efficient operation of a total of 28 forward and reverse gears in four ranges and seven seamless gears. This economical transmission offers smooth and intuitive operation in manual mode or can even operate fully automatically.

CONCEPTION PROTECT-U
The beauty of the MF Protect-U design, with a 24 cm gap between the engine and the cab, is what makes this tractor so disruptive and unique. Protecting and giving ultimate front visibility and comfort for the operator. Having the engine fully encapsulated and isolated from the cab reduces noise and vibration inside the cab becoming the quietest on the market at only 68 dB! With the fully automatic Section Control for ISOBUS implements, operators can apply seeds, fertilizers or crop protection products without overlap. This avoids double treatments and worked areas outside the field edges.
DATATRONIC 5
At the heart of the system is the intuitive Datatronic 5 touchscreen terminal, which not only manages tractor functions, but allows full control of all ISOBUS compatible implements.
MF GUIDE
MF Guide is MF's complete hands-free steering system, available on new tractors or as an aftermarket installation. It is able to provide sub-meter, decimetric and centimeter precision, increasing the efficiency of your farming.
FIELDSTAR 5
An optional Fieldstar 5 terminal can be used to manage all relevant MF technologies. It now also records the boundaries of the field and provides automatic detection of the field.
MF VDISPLAY
The MF vDisplay digital instrument panel displays all tractor information at a glance. Easy to read and with intuitive operation, its clear display can be personalized and changed by simply scrolling through settings with a rotary knob near the steering wheel.
ANTENNA RAIL
A new antenna rail, positioned at the front of the cab, makes it easy to mount a choice of GPS receivers up to RTK accuracy. For safety and risk prevention, the antenna is locked in place with a key as standard.
